Water Damage Restoration
Restoring Your Property from the Inside Out
Once the leak is fixed, the real recovery begins. Water damage rarely just sits on the surface; it penetrates deep into your walls, floors, and the structural “bones” of your property. We use a highly effective “open cavity” approach to guarantee your home is dried properly the first time.
1. Water Extraction & The Strip-Out
Saturated materials act like a sponge, trapping water against your home’s framework.
- We rapidly extract any standing or trapped water.
- We safely strip out ruined, non-restorable materials and any coverings that act as a moisture barrier.
- To ensure no hidden moisture is left behind, we cut a strict 300mm clearance margin beyond the wettest boundaries, fully exposing the structural cavities underneath.
2. Pre-Drying Hygiene
If building materials have been wet for more than 24 hours, invisible microbial growth (mould) naturally starts to develop.
- Before we turn on any high-speed drying equipment, we carry out a physical clean of the exposed structural materials.
- We then apply a specialist hygienic treatment to neutralise any early-stage pathogens, keeping the air in your home completely safe while it dries
3. Open Cavity Structural Drying
We exclusively use the open cavity method because it allows for 100% physical verification that your home’s structure is completely dry.
- By opening up the walls and floors, we can apply professional-grade dehumidifiers and high-velocity air movers directly to the wet timber and brickwork.
- This direct, targeted airflow forcefully draws the trapped moisture out of the building safely and efficiently.
4. Monitoring & The Verification Certificate
We don’t just set up the equipment and hope for the best.
- We continuously track the drying progress through regular monitoring visits, using our advanced moisture meters to physically prove the core structure is drying.
- Once the materials have officially returned to their normal, safe moisture levels, we shut down the equipment and issue you a formal Verification Certificate.
