Eradicating Mould at the Root
Discovering a severe mould outbreak in your home is incredibly stressful, especially when you are worried about your family’s health. Standard supermarket bleaches only wipe the colour off the surface—they leave the living roots completely intact.
To stop mould from returning, it must be treated as a biological hazard. We follow a strict, scientific process to physically remove the contamination, purify your air, and eradicate the roots for good.
1. Containment & Air Scrubbing
Because mould spores are microscopic and travel easily through the air, protecting your home is our very first priority.
- Before we touch the mould, we erect sealed physical barriers to completely lock down the affected rooms.
- We install commercial HEPA-filtered negative air scrubbers that run continuously while we work. This safely captures the invisible, airborne mould spores and stops them from spreading to the clean areas of your house.
2. Physical Removal & HEPA Vacuuming
Mould roots bury deep into porous building materials, permanently ruining them.
- We safely strip out and dispose of heavily infested, non-restorable materials like wet plasterboard and insulation.
- Once the ruined materials are gone, we carry out a meticulous HEPA-vacuuming of the entire exposed structural cavity to safely extract millions of loose, settled spores and debris.
3. The Dual-Stage Chemical Treatment
With the unsalvageable materials removed, we treat the remaining “bones” of your property (the restorable timber and brickwork) using our strict two-step chemical protocol:
- Stage 1 (Physical Pre-Clean): We manually scrub the affected surfaces using a specialist cleaning agent and brushes. This breaks through tough biofilms and safely removes the heavy surface grime.
- Stage 2 (Biological Remediation): We then apply a highly targeted, professional biocide directly to the materials. This definitively neutralises the deep fungal root structures and stops the mould from growing back.
4. Final Clearance & The Verification Certificate
Once the chemical treatments have dried, we perform one final HEPA-vacuum to capture any remaining neutralised spores.
- We conduct a strict final inspection, using our UV diagnostic lighting to visually prove that the biological hazard is completely gone.
- Once we are 100% satisfied, we safely dismantle the containment tent and issue you a formal Verification Certificate.
