Where We Fit In

Your Clear Path to Recovery

Figuring out who to call after property damage can be confusing. To make things simple, here is a breakdown of the recovery process and exactly where we step in.

Step 1: Stopping the Source

(Handled by You and a Leak Detector or Plumber)
Before any restoration can begin, the active moisture source must be stopped. If water is suddenly appearing, turn off your stopcock and call a specialist to find and permanently fix the leak. If you are dealing with a standalone mould problem, you may already know the cause (such as condensation or an old, repaired leak). Once the primary source of the moisture is resolved, your property is ready for the next phase.

Step 2: The Recovery Phase

(This is where JV Restoration Services steps in)
Once the plumber has packed up—or the moisture source is resolved—we take over to stop secondary damage and save your property’s structure. Depending on your exact problem, we deliver one of our two specialist services:

Water Damage Restoration: We track exactly where the water has travelled, strip out any non-restorable materials, and install specialist equipment to dry out your floors and walls.

Mould Remediation: We safely lock down the affected rooms and filter the air. We then physically remove any non-restorable materials and chemically treat the remaining structure to safely eradicate the mould.

Step 3: Handover & Reinstatement

(Handled by your Builders & Decorators)

We do not handle the cosmetic rebuild, but we act as the critical bridge to ensure the property is fully prepared for reinstatement works. Once we have completely dried and treated your property, we issue you a formal Verification Certificate. We then step aside and seamlessly hand the property over to your chosen tradespeople.

Because we leave the building completely dry and safe, your builders can immediately step in to commence the plastering, decorating, and final cosmetic rebuild of your home.
